I absolutely loved HoD and would definitely pay to have a PC version.īonus points if the community at large could figure out how to mod it and add new stages to the game to keep it alive forever.Unfortunately I doubt it will ever happen. Lots of repetition with slow gradual progression at which points your characters become OP. The only thing that would have made it better if it was one big world like the recent metroidvanias instead of speedrun style levels.Maybe you can party up with people then enter a danger area with enemies and a boss with small safe areas in between to shop chat and gear up.The formula kind of makes me think of the recent storm of Roguelites we're getting. I personally enjoyed everything about it. Albeit not as much as with Kojima.Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.:/. Not to mention, it was IGA's last game in the franchise, and there's considerable bad blood between him and Kozuki and company. Julius is insanely fun to play.:)That said, the odds of us seeing a PC port at this point when Konami didn't even bother to give MS the go-ahead to convert it for X1 backwards compatibility (which requires no work or expense on their part) is pretty much sub-zero.We're talking about Konami in 2016, where their gaming business is all but dead and they've chased out almost all of their veteran developers. I'd buy it again because it's one of the most fun coop experiences I've ever had, and the Castlevania fan service was through the roof. Don't include spoilers in your post title.
